    BRAKE Road Safety Week 19-25 November 2018
    Road Safety week is coordinated annually by the Charity Brake and involves thousands of people across the UK taking action for safer roads.  We want to raise awareness of road safety and protect those on two wheels.  Sadly, statistics indicate that cyclists and motorcyclists are among the most vulnerable road users in the UK.   Over a third of road users that are killed or seriously injured on UK roads are those travelling by bike, and more than 100 riders are injured every day in needless, preventable crashes.

    Fire Service receives grant funding to develop Intelligent Management of Operational Assets
    Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service (MAWWFRS) is delighted to announce its successful application to the research and development phase of Innovate to Save, a Welsh Government funded programme managed by Y Lab, a partnership between Cardiff University and Nesta. ​​

    Operation BANG 2018
    ​Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service, South Wales Police and Dyfed Powys Police are working together to raise public awareness on how to be safe for the forthcoming Halloween and Fireworks activities.  The campaign encourages persons to be considerate to anyone who does not wish to join in the celebrations.
