Crymych Fire Station
Crymych Fire Station is crewed by On Call Firefighters who respond to the station when required. The Fire Station is situated in the Preseli Hills in the north of Pembrokeshire with a population of 5883, the station covers much of the Preselis from Maenclochog to Boncath.
The A487 runs through the town, taking traffic from the A40 to Cardigan. The town has a junior school and large bilingual comprehensive school, drawing pupils from a large area of Pembrokeshire. Other risks in the area are mainly domestic, small commercial and farming. The nature of this rural community means longer response times to small remote communities often accessed by single track roads. The station has a co responder unit which reduces the time taken for first aid trained personnel to respond to medical emergencies in the mid - Pembrokeshire area.
