Tregaron Fire Station
Tregaron Fire Station was officially opened in 1965 and modified slightly in 2006; it is situated on Dewi road on the outskirts of the town. The Tregaron area has an approximate population of 4,800 and the station provides emergency response to the town itself and neighbouring communities of Pontrhydfendigaid, Llangeitho, Llanddewi Brefi.
On call personnel respond to the station when required. They crew a fire appliance and also a co responder vehicle which supports the Welsh Ambulance Service in responding to medical emergencies within the community. If you are interested in becoming an On Call Firefighter at Tregaron Fire Station or if you require additional safety advice please visit our web site at www.mawwfire.gov.uk

Priority for 2014-2015
• Reduce the number of Special Service Calls (e.g. rescues, flooding etc.)
It can be seen form the station incident profile that special service calls make up a large percentage of the station call outs. These calls are primarily flooding incidents and reflect the recent adverse weather experienced in the area. The command team will work with our respective partners in order to reduce the risk to the community of Tregaron and also implement contingency plans in the event of future incidents.
