Station personnel have been proactive in reducing the risk for the local inhabitants and visitors by carrying out Home Fire Safety checks, where crews give out important safety advice and fit free smoke alarms if required.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service is currently recruiting firefighters in the Kidwelly area, in particular those who are available from their workplace or home in day time hours.
